I’ve been a stay at home mom for 7 1/2 years after working as an executive for a Fortune 500 company. Now that my kids are in school I felt I really needed to do something for me. Going back to work full time isn’t an option right now as I still need to be there for my family and cannot support a 40+ hour work week at this time. I was so fortunate to meet Grace a few years ago. When I recently told Grace about my need for “something,” she suggested I try being a Stella and Dot stylist. She said I could set my own hours and work as much or as little as I wanted. In addition the cost to “get in” on it was truly minimal. At first I thought no, not me. I’m not a sales person. After talking to Grace I thought why not. I don’t have much to lose and if it doesn’t work out I can walk away with very little personal investment.
She said I could set my own hours and work as much or as little as I wanted.
Fast forward six weeks and I’m loving what I do! I’ve styled a handful of Trunk Shows, have made more than $1,600, earned a ton of free products, and have put in fewer than 20 hours of work. I’ve achieved the right balance of being a stay at home mom and having a fun and exciting part-time job making much more than minimum wage!
Grace has been the best support! She has tirelessly answered all of my questions and guides me in actions I can take to increase my sales. When I had a large Trunk Show, she loaned me her display as she knew it would help me with my sales. I didn’t even have to ask. She is a wealth of information and a natural leader. I’m truly fortunate to be part of her team.
