I joined Stella & Dot in October 2010 – I had never been to a trunk show or even seen the jewels in person (only online), but I loved what I saw and my husband told me “Why not, what have you got to lose?”
I had just left Corporate America after a 15 year career in Software Sales. I was burnt out and had lost the passion I once had for the company & product. But I knew I still wanted and needed to do something so why not S&D?
I knew it was a special company, but I didn’t fully realize how truly special it would be for me and my family until much later.
This opportunity has allowed me to be more present in the lives of my three children and work a schedule around their busy sports schedules. I can work more when I need/want to work more and stay more steady on other months. We can continue to allow our children to play on travel sports teams, affording overnight trips with ease. Two years ago, we surprised the kids with a trip to Disney and this year another surprise trip to Hawaii for spring break. And, yes this is all on that awesome, little blue card.
I love that you can truly make this business whatever you want it to be and it is yours! So glad that my husband talked me into it and nudged me to give it a go – best decision I have ever made for myself, my husband and my family!!! Now I love sharing my story with other women and seeing how they can fit Stella & Dot into their lives – this is a business that every woman could and should do!!!
